The Devil You Don't Know

A podcast that explores the historical and cultural relevance of the figure known as the Devil. For many, The Devil is an entity not to be trifled with. He (most often it is a "he" pronoun) has an aim to tempt you away from God. For others, The Devil is a fictitious character carefully designed as propaganda; a scare tactic for the faithful.

The consequences of this belief around The Devil have been severe. Antisemitism, the crusades, the inquisition, the witch trials, the Satanic Panic, and even today there is Q'Anon. The Devil is VERY real to many people and in this podcast we will look into how this came to be. You already know The Devil You Know. We are uncovering The Devil You DON'T Know.

Don Early

Since 1999, Don Early has been a producer, director, actor, and sometimes writer for the geek film companies: Dead Gentlemen Productions and Zombie Orpheus Entertainment. He cowrote the Demon Hunters: A Comedy of Terrors roleplaying game and hosted the first season of the Dead.FM podcast. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Languages and is excited to finally use the damn degree on this podcast.

Emily Quann is an actor best known for her roles in The Gamers movies by Zombie Orpheus Entertainment and Dead Gentlemen Productions, playing both "The Princess," and "Therin, Goddess of Light." She is also a self-proclaimed "Research Nerd" and "History Buff" and is ridiculously excited to be working on a podcast about The Devil!

Jeremy has been a comedic character actor since 1997. He is very proud of his work on JournyQuest, where he embodied the character, "Grellnock Skullsplitter" (two L's), and voiced the role of the obnoxiously lovable, and extremely inappropriate "Sword of Fighting." Jeremy performs as a voice actor and audiobook narrator, and is a host or cast of several podcasts, including the Inglorious Bards and The Devil You DON'T Know.
